@num1ubernacht Were you really just messing? Sounded pretty honest in your rant back there. And by ‘idiot’ ncdreams means you have no clue as to how serious a disease diabetes is. It’s not about “I’m low, I need attention”, It causes extreme complications. Sight damage, nerve damage, extreme pain and more. A lot of which I have experienced, and I’m only 19. It kills people. Still think we’re just attention seekers?

as i fellow diabetic i can relate to darrens stories:
i was diagnosed at 20 months old an there is no other type 1 diabetics in my family
years of being bullied in school made me hyperglycemic (too much sugar in the blood) THREE TIMES… i near went into a coma once.
after finding out tha darren was also a type one diabetic and with help from my friends and loved ones i’ve sorted my life out its a rough battle but i’m finding it easier every day.
